I Miss Something

I do believe that cells are able to communicate each other and they are able to record everything. That is why there is a bond between mother-child or siblings. That is why people told me in the far future, organs would speak what they witness.

In this world, there are many things that are not able to be proven scientifically because of our limitations of thinking. Including about where God exist. Therefore, having faith is enough.

Kampung Naga

If you are foreigners, stalkers, or whoever are dropping by my blog and going to know a little bit about Kampung Naga, here I will explain some. Kampung Naga, if it's translated to english it means 'Dragon Village' but that's not supposed to be translated actually. The reason is, first, there is and was no dragon at all over there. Second, there is a proper reason why this village was named Kampung Naga.

Do you really want to know? Ok, let me explain. This explanation is based on the local guide. He told me that Kampung Naga is an abbreviation. Naga itself stands for 'na gawir'. It is sundanese language which means this village is located near the cliff. But never imagine that dramatic or extreme cliff you see on Instagram or Google Image. It's much different.

From City of Tasikmalaya where I live, it will take about 2 hours to reach Kampung Naga using car passing through Singaparna.

As it's located near the cliff, when you're going to explore Kampung Naga, you have to go downstairs for about 15-20 minutes to reach the village. Once you arrive, you can find quite big river and local people are fishing. For those who are sick of the city's hustle and bustle, this place can be a perfect choice for spending weekend at. Before leaving, we are welcome to fill the guest book and I saw many traces of foreign tourists.

So, what's special in Kampung Naga? The answer is its tradition to keep alive without electricity. I must be giving up even for a day to live there where every night the people only use flame of candles. For housing, they are still maintaining the house style of the past. Isn't that cool when others are trying to modernize their house but people in Kampung Naga is still survive with antiquity? I think so.
