Munggahan

Assalamu'alaikum..

Time seems to be going extremely fast right?  Finally tomorrow will be the first day of Ramadan Month, my most awaited month of the year. Alhamdulillah, I'm so grateful and thankful for being alive every morning and feeling happy everyday until now. 

Before entering Ramadan, there must be a tradition to welcome this month of mercy and forgiveness called Munggahan. I think it's Sundanese culture which probably exist for a long time ago. As always busy and almost never have me-time to go out of town or somewhere else, I spent Munggahan with Teh Lisna at Mayasari Plaza :P

Well I know munggahan is not required at all. But it's no matter if we welcome Ramadan by having culinary trip at the food court, as long as it's not overeating =D

Again, I’m very very very grateful that there are sooooo much beauty and joy to be had in living life. I hope I'll never stopped saying Alhamdulillah.

Bookworm?

Just got 3 books from Gramedia Book Fair. It cost IDR 10.000 for each book. Very cheap to have new literature and more knowledge, right?

Having library is one of my dream, especially when I have had my own house (with my husband later) :P And gladly it's now working..

All are made by non-rice, using local natural materials such as tuber, rice field snails, taro, and cassava :) Yummy and healthy.

Photo Hunt: Benighted Adventure

In this post, I'm going to share my experience following Minoritas Fotografer Tasikmalaya photo hunt to Cikalang River at Cibeureum. At first, I was just invited to have photo shooting by a stranger friend I know through Facebook. I have a propensity for befriending the strangers, thus I said agree to join them. Moreover my writing was finish earlier. So I thought it would be more than fun, having experience and new friends. 


It was afternoon, about 3PM when we begin to walk to the photography spot (Cikalang River). It need an extra energy to reach the spot, just like overcome the challenge.

After walking about a half hour, we arrived. Yaaaay! Surprisingly, the area was faaaar behind the civilization. Heheheh.. No housing, no people, no lamp. The sound of water in the river is very refreshing. Still natural and out of hustle-bustle. But unfortunately a lot of garbage in the river dominated plastic and leafage =.=

We had the journey really till drop, till the sun set. So here I text the tittle as Benighted Adventure. Even we should have to use flash for lighting the way home. Such a fascinating journey though it left body aches and fatigue in the next day :D

Nat's 2nd Birthday

Yesterday (6/7) was Nat-nat's second birthday! Congratulation sweetheart, I hope you are always cute, happy, and will make your parent proud for having you as their daughter in the near future. Muah!

Eiffel, I'll be there!

Lately, I'm so excited to learn french from my brother. He's graduate student of Padjadjaran University, majoring in french department. And now I'm into french things. That's why I'm sooo happy to get wall sticker from Bu Amel. As you see in the pictures, starting now I'll sleep under Eiffel Tower every night. Hihihi :P

Really wish someday I'll be in Paris. Souhaitez moi bonne chance :)
